Trauma Recovery

You have always been a survivor.

If you grew up in a household where emotions were cryptic or criticism was the primary language, you had to learn to adapt.

You’ve become an expert at achievement or avoidance as a survival tool, but now that you’re an adult, that armor is starting to feel incredibly heavy. It’s not serving you with your own family, friends, and coworkers.

Being a survivor is certainly part of your nature, but you know you can be more than that. You feel stuck in patterns of the past that helped you then, but now do the opposite.

Past traumatic experiences have a way of keeping your brain on high alert – impacting you emotionally and physically. Sure, you might develop defense mechanisms, but the issues remain unresolved. Therapy can help you find ways to overcome traumatic past experiences and live the life you deserve.

Reclaim the person you were meant to be.

Healing isn’t about “fixing” who you are; it’s about developing self-compassion and awareness, making choices, and leaning into them, even when you worry.

We’ll compassionately explore the family narratives and generational cycles that have led you to feel you’re limiting yourself. This is a safe space to lay it all out and start viewing and feeling things differently.

Our goals are to build a sense of grounded self-assurance. We’ll work together to help you stand tall in your own authenticity, perhaps for the first time in your life.

It’s time to step into your next stage of life.

You’ve been strong for a long time. Now it’s time to take the step, push yourself a little farther, and break from old habits that no longer help.
