Neurofeedback

Your internal “radio” is stuck on high-volume static.
Do you ever feel like your brain is a radio stuck on a frequency that’s nothing but loud commercials and constant white noise?
You want to be present for a conversation or focus on a project, but the sheer effort required to stay “in the room” leaves you completely drained by noon.
You’re not broken, and you aren’t just “unfocused.” Instead, your brain has become a little too fluent in the language of high alert.
It’s forgotten how to find the “off” switch for the noise, leaving you feeling like you’re constantly vibrating even when you’re sitting perfectly still.
Retune your brain for clarity and calm.
Neurofeedback provides a gentle way to help your brain find a more manageable, rhythmic pace.
Instead of just discussing the static, we use this specialized approach to teach your nervous system how to retune itself. Think of it as a workout for your brain that builds newfound strength and resilience.
The goal is to help you navigate your day with the clarity of a high-definition signal, where you can finally hear your own thoughts again instead of the relentless buzz of overthinking and worries.

Here’s how neurofeedback works.
We will spend the beginning of each neurofeedback session reviewing your symptoms since our last meeting.
After that’s completed, you are hooked up to the system using four nodes attached to your head with a waxy paste. The nodes read your brain waves and will be moved to different areas of your head depending on which symptoms we are working to reduce.
Then we put on your favorite movie or episode, and off we go. The movie screen and volume will adjust in relation to how regulated or dysregulated your brain waves are reading.
The majority of people leave the session feeling more regulated and calmer. Most people want to wash their hair afterward because some of the waxy paste is likely to remain.
