ADHD
Life is like a Ferrari engine with bicycle brakes.
ADHD can be both a powerful tool and a self-sabotaging weapon. Kids and adults alike struggle with finding the right pace and balance to complete tasks and accomplish goals.
One day, you have a million brilliant ideas and start on twelve of them, only a few of which are finished. Next, you are so overwhelmed that you can’t even complete your regular tasks or are easily pulled away from something you know needs to be focused on.
You can always remember to take your plate to the sink after dinner, but for some reason, you are blind to the cup. Every time!
It’s frustrating and makes you, or your child, feel stupid. Shame is often your dinner companion.

Navigate the chaos with clarity.
It’s not that you are lazy or distracted. Your mind functions differently. It can be beautiful and frustrating at the same time.
In therapy for ADHD, I provide a warm, welcoming space where we can talk about the concrete details of your life – not just a list of symptoms from a textbook. Together, we’ll find ways to manage the overwhelm and dismiss the unhelpful shame and anxiety.
We will work on both executive functioning skills and the emotional strength and resilience needed to thrive as someone with ADHD. We’ll move toward a transformed space where your boundaries are clearer, and your focus carries newfound strength.
My mission is to help you stop fighting against your brain and finally start leading it. I work with both adults and children to help them thrive in school and life.
